Stop the PESTS from coming in!
Let’s be real—when you’ve got living quarters tucked away in the woods, you’re basically moving into a neighborhood that the bugs and critters called home first! Ranch and farm life will introduce you to a whole cast of characters (uninvited ones, too), but keeping your living space critter-free? That’s non-negotiable.
My cozy spot is a barndo, nestled right in the middle of my property. I’m only there about once a month, outside of deer season, so you know what that means—plenty of vacancy for the local wildlife to check out the accommodations! I’ve caught them setting up camp in my garage, in the rafters of the lean-to, and trying their luck around windows and doors. Inside the barndo itself? Rarely any critters.
But then, the bees came buzzing—literally boring holes into the exposed, untreated wood framing. After a chat with my dear ol' dad, he told me about a magical potion called Viper Insecticide. I got my hands on it, gave it a whirl, and just like that—bees, be gone! No more buzzing, no more holes. And to top it off, I noticed a mass grave of spiders, mosquitos, and wasps. I thought to myself, “Why stop now?”
So now, every quarter, I mix up about 5 gallons of this bug-banishing brew, load it into my 25-gallon sprayer, and I go to town! I soak the barndo, give the surrounding 10-foot perimeter a good dousing, hit the garage, the rafters, the window frames—anywhere those freeloaders might try sneaking in. The results? Mind-blowing.
If you’ve ever wondered what to use to kick out non-paying, uninvited critters, wonder no more. Viper Insecticide is the answer!
